Dorothy van Wyk (Maiden Name - Knox), was born in Pretoria on 21 March 1952.

She is a hairdresser by profession for nearly 45 years. Her father was an artist in oil paintings and pencil sketches. Her younger brother
is also a well known artist who specializes in oil paintings & sculpture work.
The need to develop her creative side was always wondering through her thoughts and only needed a spark - On 2020 when She met Nobert Schling, an
International Award Winning Artist in Brooklyn, Pretoria. She decided there and then that it’s time to
evolve her talents and started with my art classes.
